Story: An Unexpected Deposit

July 10, 2017 Brian Lee

It was December up at the Geneva house, I was out for a walk with our big black Newfoundland Ben on a back wood trail along the creek. There was a light snow fall that day and an inch or two on the ground.
My stomach became all twisted up for one reason or another and I had to answer natures call up against a nearby tree. Afterwards, I covered it up best I could and continued hiking for a bit. As usual , Ben had run off and I couldn’t find him for a while so I headed home, when I got back to the house I started taking off my boots when I heard a shriek come from inside the house. When I went inside my sister was standing with a disgusted face. Her pants and the furniture in the living room were covered with what looked like mud. Apparently Ben had found my deposit in the woods covered himself with it and made his way into the living room and on my sisters lap. There he stood next to my disgusted sister proud as ever… -Brian Lee-
