Article: Hawley - Our Family Name

The arrival of baby Esther Hawley Anderson has sparked an interesting discussion of the family name Hawley.  For anyone that might not know this tidbit of family lore, Hawley was Grandma Blanche Henry’s maiden name.

It got me wondering who all has Hawley as part of their name.  From the flying e-mails I have surmised the following list:

Esther Hawley Anderson

Fredrick Hawley Henry (Uncle Fred)

Dan Hawley Henry

Ellen Hawley Henry Morrison

Honorary member of this club should be Holly Blanche Henry!

Who have I missed?  Anybody else out there? Let me know…..

By the way, I am sure everyone joins me is saying “Congratulations Bobbi and Daryl!”  Esther, we love you already and can’t wait to meet you.  You have a strong name that will carry you well through life; just look at this “club” you’ve already joined!
