Linda and I had fun watching Ross run in the Woodridge Cross Country Invitational. It’s a race run in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Here are some descriptions of it in today’s Plain Dealer. ” the three steepest hills on the course are nicknamed “Killer”, “Hearty” and a word that rhymes with itch.” Two of the high school coaches quoted in the article refer to the course as being by far the toughest in the state. I had my own memories of running the invitational. . . it was tough! Ross had a great run. He came in 29th out of about 200 runners. His middle school team placed 10th out of about 20 teams. Good job Ross, a run well run!
