Album: Photo Contest Winners 2009

Jan. 6, 2009 Henrys and Relatives, Officially the next photo hunt is getting underway; it has been awhile since we have done one. The new topic is Animals in Winter, Show what animals are doing where you are living. We are looking for great shots of unique animals in unique ways and unique places. Get your cameras going because the Contest ends of the last day of winter, so Get busy!!!  To submit them send them to this email ( [email protected]) where they will be submitted on the Howler for people to vote for. -Ross-

Ross is in charge of the contest this time so any questions should be directed to him. BTW, the last day of winter is March 19th. Linda

March 19 –  The Animals in Winter photo contest is well underway but because we hope to get a few more submissions Ross decided to extend the deadline to April 1st. Check out what has already been submitted (by the way, the Fred Henry’s are leading by FAR) on the Photo Contest Page. We will begin the voting process on the next issue of the Howler.

April 12 – Okay, the Animals in Winter Photo Contest is officially closed to submissions. Now it’s time to look them over and vote for your favorites. There a number of categories this time so have fun. Photo Contest Page. Let the Voting Begin!

May 17 – Ross has carefully tallied the votes for the “Animals in Winter” theme. Here are your winners! Congratulations everyone, especially Robyn Westlake., she took 2 categories. I guess you just can’t beat Kotzebue for “animals in winter”.
