Keith, Lucky #13, LAX at Robert Morris U – 2008 season
April 16, 2008 UPDATE from Dodie
So, I have updated statistics on Keith….. At last Tuesday’s game (Mom went with me) we lost in overtime to a team that beat us last year 10-1. The score was 15-16.
This past Saturday (we played Villanova who crushed us last year 16-2) we lost in double over time, the score was 10-11. As a result of the high scoring games, and the number of face offs that Keith won, he went from being ranked 17th nationally to being ranked 13th. He is 1st in the Nation for freshman face-offs and first overall in his conference in face-offs. We have 2 more games to go. This weekend is against Delaware (who made it to the final 4 last year and who this year lost to Towson-the team that many of you came to watch where we lost by 1) away. The last game of the season is April 26th (same day as someone else’s birthday–an old man turning 50) home against Hofstra (another huge lacrosse powerhouse)….

“Mom and I had a great time. After the game, which we won 16-5 (Keith is now first string face offs) we took he and his girlfriend Megan out to dinner.
Jim, I think I sent you a schedule. They play VMI this weekend at home (supposed to be a good game-we beat them in overtime last year). Then we play Ohio State at home the following weekend, then Towson on March 29th. Last weekend they were in Louisville Kentucky, and the weekend before that they played two games, one in Staten Island NY and the other in Riverdale NY near Manhatten.” Dodie
“The game was great and we got to watch from the Press boc. Dodie was in and out between pleasant dry and warm press box and the cold, rainy and windy field area. Things were beginning to ice up badly by the time we got back to hudson and my power went to dim right after I got home.” Grandma
Keith LAX at Robert Morris U – Mar. 29, 2008
Today was Game Day for Keith and the Fight’n Colonials at RMU. They played Towson University, a very tough top rated team and almost pulled off an upset win. We had a good showing of Keith Lee fans for a bright but cold day. Dodie and Pete reserved us a large press room so we were very comfortable with lots of food and drinks. Keith had a very good game despite realizing during half time that he had a deep slice on his knee. Fortunately there was a RMU Mom there that is a nurse practitioner and was able to stitch him up after the game. Keith…..send us your comments on the game and an update on your surgery.” Aunt Linda
