Where was Dorothy in the line-up, oldest, middle? I think I recall that Eddie was the baby of the family, is that correct? L
Jeanne: Eddie, Edna, Elsie, Dorothy, Eleanor, Alma, Igga, Mesha, Betty. The picture was taken in the fifties. Eddie was #2 in the lineup. Ena was a nurse in WW1.

Moo-Moo had a sister who was not able to have kids (or had only boys), well when Moo Moo had another girl, she gave it to this sister…….until Moo Moo’s husband made her go get the baby back, (right Mom?)
Jeanne: Actually, that baby was Betty(Eizabeth) and Aunt Jenny came down from Detroit to pick up the baby and that’s when Grampa heard about the whole deal and squelched it and poor Aunt Jenny lived the rest of her life childless, Grandpa dies, and Momo had to raise all of the nine with no such stuff as wellfare, social security , etc. ….. And I don’t know who Mimi is you mention.

Jeanne: The order is Edna, Eddie, Elsie, Dorothy( originally named Ethel but name changed on baptisimal certificate), Eleanor (a model), Alma, Igga (a model), Mesha, and Betty. No one is still alive. She did not have MS. She had a stroke and suffered rheumatoid arthritis throughout her life from the age of 16. Also a couple bouts of rheumatic fever. Remember, no antibiotics at that time.

Jeanne: Those relatives are pretty scattered but the hub is in the new england type area. Actually there are 21 of us 1st cousins from the original 9 siblings. five of these, including my brother, are deceased. I don’t have a head count on the second cousins (your generation) But I know that 3 of us had 6 children. So there are 18 right off the bat.

Jeanne: I think you might have picked that up from Jack and Yos kids. I always referred to her as gramma
